Ways you can control your costs

A unique approach to renewal premiums

Our renewal prices are clear and easy to understand.

By doing healthy things to improve your Vitality status, you can control your costs too.

Choose your treatment pathway

As part of our Standard Core Cover, Consultant Select is the most cost-effective way to access all the benefits of VitalityHealth, without compromising the quality of care.

For an additional cost, you can add a hospital list to your plan.

Choose your underwriting

Underwriting is the way we look at your age, medical history and any previous claims you might have made, before we give you a health insurance quote.

There are three options to choose from.

Pick your excess

The higher your excess, the lower your premium.

You can choose to pay a fixed sum - an excess - towards your premium. You can set your excess at £0, £100, £250, £500 or £1,000. You can choose to pay this each time you make a claim, or each plan year.
