Mental health can impact us all in many ways. But we're here to help. Our core cover includes:
- Therapy - refer yourself for an assessment for a range of therapies, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and counselling, either online or face-to-face.
- Rewards for physical activity - because getting active can help your mental health.

How we can support your mental health
You can access a range of support - all included in your core cover
Talking Therapy
Get up to 8 Talking Therapy sessions, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) or counselling sessions, each plan year. You can:
- Refer yourself for treatment. Or get a GP referral.
- Opt for face-to-face or online therapy sessions.
- Choose the mental health professional you want to see from our approved providers
- You can call our team for advice, too
Please note, your self-referral will need to be approved by a clinician.
Mindfulness from Headspace
Your plan also includes a 12-month subscription to the Headspace app. You get:
- CBT-based guided programs for mood and anxiety
- Music and guided meditations to help you reset
- Sleep sounds and stories to help you rest
- Relaxing yoga sessions to help you unwind

When you add our mental health cover option to your plan, you'll get all of our core cover, and:
- Get full cover for CBT or counselling sessions each plan year
- Up to £1,500 of mental health treatment - for example, appointments with a psychiatrist
