Vitality Scoops a 2024 Best Place to Work Award
Vitality has today been named in the top ten Best Places to Work: Very Big Organisation in The Sunday Times Awards 2024.
The awards celebrate the country’s top employers, ranking them against a range of measures including inclusivity, health and wellbeing support, and ability to attract and retain the best people.
Vitality achieved high scores across the board, notably on empowerment, job satisfaction, and instilling pride. The awards are based on employee feedback through a survey undertaken by The Sunday Times.
Vitality was also shown to have a healthier than average workforce, with 87% of employees rated as being in good health* and 85% of employees saying the organisation cared for their wellbeing. Vitality was also recognised for its innovation in offering wellbeing support, with The Sunday Times noting that Vitality provides employees with ADHD and autism diagnosis and treatment support.
The survey also revealed that 85% of Vitality employees are proud to work for Vitality, 82% believe they do something worthwhile, and 87% say the business cares about diversity and inclusion and does what it can to promote it.
Neville Koopowitz, CEO of Vitality, said: “Our employees are at the very heart of our organisation and make us who we are today, which makes being recognised as one of the best places to work by The Sunday Times in this way a real honour.
“We pride ourselves in attracting great people, liberating the best in them, and supporting our employees to live the healthiest lives they can. This is all in line with our core purpose - to make people healthier and to enhance and protect lives – and these are all the key themes we are recognised for today, in these awards.”
