You’ll qualify for the Apple Watch Offer if you have at least one of the following Vitality plans (each a “Plan”):

1. Health insurance – any private health insurance plan.
2. Business health insurance
1. Any small business health insurance plan; or
2. Any corporate health insurance plan or trust scheme administered by Vitality, with Vitality Plus benefits.
3. Life insurance – any life insurance plan with Vitality Plus benefits. In addition, the total premiums of all life plans on which you are a member must be at least £45 per month, excluding any fee paid for Vitality Plus.

You must be 18 years or over.

Eligibility for this offer is subject to financial circumstances and status.

The Apple Watch benefit is not available for members who live in the Channel Islands.

You can only have one Apple Watch through Vitality at any one time. If you have paid off your Novuna Personal Finance credit agreement early, you will still not be able to apply for another Apple Watch with Vitality until the original end date of the credit agreement.

If you have a Personal Health Fund (PHF) in your Plan, you cannot use it to pay for the upfront payment or loan payments.

Apple Watch is for your own personal use and gifting or resale of the device is prohibited.

We reserve all rights if we suspect, or find, you to have resold or gifted your Apple Watch.

You are not permitted to transfer your Apple Watch benefit to another member on your Plan.

Additional qualifying criteria for joint or family plans

If you have one or more joint health insurance or life insurance Plans, only one Apple Watch is available across all adults on the Plans. No other member named on the joint or family Plans can order Apple Watch during your loan period (even if the loan is paid off early). For more than one adult member of a joint Plan to be eligible for an Apple Watch at the same time, each member must also hold separate eligible single plans in their own right.

If you have one or more joint or family Plans:

• only one adult member on one or more of the joint or family Plans can order Apple Watch for their own personal use
• the member who owns the Apple Watch must earn the activity point

Other general rules

We reserve the right to (i) refuse the provision of Apple Watch; (ii) request a return of your Apple Watch; (iii) request the Lender to cancel the Credit Agreement; (iv) deduct activity points; or (v) any other remedy, if: 

• someone else uses your Apple Watch so that you benefit; or
• you have provided false or misleading identity information to Apple.

To purchase an Apple Watch from Vitality, you will need to pass a credit check and make an upfront payment. This will vary depending on the model you choose, and whether anyone on your plan has previously purchased an Apple Watch through Vitality or not. Checking your eligibility will place a soft search on your credit file which is not visible to other lenders.

In addition, you need to agree to a 36-month online consumer credit agreement of 0% APR with the Lender (“Credit Agreement”).

You must complete and enter your details into the Credit Agreement for yourself, and strictly not on behalf of anybody else. You must use your own bank account details.

You will set up a variable Direct Debit for 36 months in case payments are due.

If you earn the required activity points, we will make payment contributions to your Apple Watch. All activity points earned from any Vitality linked device will count.

We will only provide Vitality contributions to your Apple Watch purchased through Vitality.

If no one on your Plan has had Apple Watch before, depending on your monthly activity levels, you will pay between £0 and £10.00 a month for Apple Watch Series 10; or between £0 and £6.00 a month for Apple Watch SE.

If this is the second or later Apple Watch purchased on your Plan through Vitality, depending on your monthly activity levels, you will pay between £0 and £6.00 a month for Apple Watch Series 10.

We will calculate your monthly payment contribution from your previous month's activity points. This will affect your variable Direct Debit payment in the following month.

If you cancel, lapse, switch your plan to a non-eligible Plan or switch your Plan to another insurer before your final payment:

• we will no longer make any contributions to the Lender on your behalf;
• we will not reinstate our payment contributions, even if you are eligible again at a later date;
• your Credit Agreement with the Lender will continue under the terms of that agreement.

If you have paid off your Novuna Personal Finance credit agreement early, you will still not be able to apply for another Apple Watch with Vitality until the original end date of the credit agreement.

If you change your mind, you can cancel up to 14 days after the day of delivery (the “cooling off period”).

You need to let us know that you have decided to cancel.

If you cancel within the cooling off period, we will refund you your initial upfront payment.

We reserve the right to reduce your refund if you have mishandled your Apple Watch and it has reduced its value.

Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch SE requires an iPhone Xs or later with iOS 18 or later.

Bands are subject to availability.

You’ll need to complete the following steps before ordering Apple Watch:

• Register your membership in our Member Zone; and
• Download our Member app and complete your Health Profile.

Then, when you receive your Apple Watch, you will need to:

• link the Apple Health app to the Vitality Member app, so we can track your activity from your Apple Watch.

By purchasing Apple Watch, you agree to the use of Apple’s chosen courier and their corresponding terms and conditions.

Apple is not a participant or sponsor of Vitality Active Rewards.

To award your Vitality activity points, we will exchange information with Apple. You can view our Privacy Notice here.

If there is a delay in awarding your Vitality activity points, we will rectify any payments. We will run a regular cashback process. We will pay your cashback into your nominated bank account. You can view and update your bank details in the 'Update My Details' section of the Member Zone.

We will only count Vitality activity points earned by the member who took out the benefit.

You may disconnect Apple Watch from Vitality at any time via the Vitality Member app.

1. Apple Watch Series 10 requires iPhone Xs or later with iOS 18 or later.

3. Apple Watch Series 10 is rated IP6X dust resistant.
4. The Sleep Apnoea Notification Feature is available on Apple Watch Series 9 and later and Ultra. It is intended to detect signs of moderate to severe sleep apnoea for people 18 years old or older without a diagnosis of sleep apnoea.
5. Bigger display with up to 30 per cent more screen area compared with previous generations.

7. Emergency SOS requires a cellular connection or Wi-Fi calling with an internet connection from your Apple Watch or nearby iPhone.
8. Charge times are from 0–80% and 0–100% using the included Apple Watch Magnetic Fast Charger to USB-C Cable. Testing conducted by Apple in August 2024 using pre-production Apple Watch Series 10 (GPS) and Apple Watch Series 10 (GPS + Cellular), each paired with an iPhone; all devices tested with pre-release software, Apple Watch Magnetic Fast Charger to USB-C Cable (Model A2515) and Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter (Model A2305). Fast-charge testing conducted with drained Apple Watch units. Times measured from the appearance of the Apple logo as the unit started up. Charge time varies with region, settings and environmental factors; actual results will vary.
9. Irregular rhythm notification requires the latest versions of watchOS and iOS. It is not intended for use by people under 22 years old or those who have been previously diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AF).
10. The ECG app is available on Apple Watch Series 4 and later (excluding Apple Watch SE) and can generate an ECG similar to a single-lead electrocardiogram. Intended for use by people 22 years old and over.
11. The Cycle Tracking app should not be used for birth control or to diagnose a health condition.
12. Fall Detection updates are available on Apple Watch Series 4 and later with watchOS 8 and later.
13. Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch SE has a water resistance rating of 50 metres under ISO standard 22810:2010. This means that it may be used for shallow-water activities like swimming in a pool or ocean. Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch SE should not be used for scuba diving, waterskiing or other activities involving high-velocity water or submersion below shallow depth.
